But on the way home, her parents explain that because her school grades weren’t strong, they’ve decided not to go on vacation this summer and instead, Tishan must read for two hours every day, choosing a book from her father’s office. Through every setback, Tishan learns that hard moments do not last forever and that love and encouragement can help her keep going.

I really liked how this book felt honest and heartfelt. Tishan’s journey is emotional, relatable, and a great reminder that family support can make hard moments easier.
